Hi, I’m Baylie DeKorne — photographer, storyteller, and lover of all things love.
I’ve been involved in photography on and off for over 10 years, and what started as a hobby quickly became a lifelong passion. My journey began ringside at horse shows, camera in hand, trying to freeze the beauty of a perfect jump or the bond between horse and rider. Those early days taught me how to capture emotion in motion — the fleeting moments that tell a bigger story.

From there, my camera and I evolved together. I started taking senior portraits and fell in love with the joy and excitement that comes with this huge milestone in a young person’s life. Each session was a celebration of identity, growth, and stepping into the next chapter. But it wasn’t until I started photographing couples in love that I truly felt like I’d found my calling.

There’s just something about weddings that lights me up inside. Maybe it’s the way a bride’s hands shake slightly while getting ready, or the way a groom’s face softens the second he sees her. It’s the little in-between moments — the whispered “I love yous,” the nervous laughter, the happy tears. That’s the magic I live to capture. Weddings are full of once-in-a-lifetime moments, and being trusted to document them is an honor I don’t take lightly.

I originally worked under the name Double B Photography, and during that time, I was published in several equine photography magazines and even won a few awards for my work. It was an incredible chapter in my life, but after getting married myself and stepping into a new season, I felt it was time for my brand to grow alongside me. With my new name, Baylie D Photography, comes a renewed focus on what I love most — capturing real love stories in a raw, authentic, and timeless way.

Even though weddings and engagements are now my main focus, I’ll always have a soft spot for senior portraits and pet photography. They’re part of my roots, and I still offer sessions in both areas because, well, I just love telling people’s stories — whether they’re 17 and heading into the world, or 27 and walking down the aisle.

Outside of photography, I’m a proud wife, an equestrian, and a lover of animals and good books. I believe in preserving memories in a way that feels natural, genuine, and uniquely you. My goal is always to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience that leaves you not only with beautiful photos — but with cherished memories of the day itself.
