Another full circle moment — Bobby isn’t just someone I’ve done a senior session for, he’s also my cousin. He’s more like a brother to me, so when he reached out asking me to photograph his proposal to Beatriz, I was honestly jumping with joy and immediately said yes.
Because we’re so close, I also got to help him pick out her ring, and seeing it for the first time after it was finished was such a special moment in itself.
We originally planned to do the session at a pumpkin patch, but schedules ended up conflicting, so we shifted plans to instead — a place that already held meaning for them. In the end, it turned out even better than we could have planned. It was quiet, private, and felt like the perfect backdrop for such an important moment.
Beatriz is incredibly sweet, and her and Bobby truly balance each other in the best way. Where he’s chaotic and impulsive, she’s calm, grounded, and keeps him steady. Watching them together made it so easy to see how perfect they are for each other.
They are getting married in May of 2027 at. Bobby always said he wanted to feel like a prince on his wedding day — and honestly, as he should.
Whether I’m just there as a guest or lucky enough to be the one photographing it, I am truly so excited to witness them become Mr. & Mrs. Haskin. That kind of joy is something I’ll never take for granted.
