When Brittany reached out to me to photograph Marshall Lee, I was so excited. Brittany and I worked together at an animal hospital I was at for three years, and Marshall would come in with her regularly — always such a gentleman.

He was such a good boy, but honestly, I expected nothing less from this distinguished little gentleman.

All we had to do was throw a ball, and he was completely locked in. It made it so easy to capture everything I needed and more.

Marshall was so locked in on that ball that he didn’t care at all about the other dogs around him. In fact, other dogs tried to play with him, but he was absolutely uninterested — ball is life, and nothing else mattered in that moment.
