Cooper & Bree were kind enough not only to let me photograph them in the cold snow, but they even came out to my house to do it — and it ended up being the perfect session.
Other photographers will probably relate to this, but winter always makes us a little antsy. There’s this urge to create again after slowing down, so I put out a model call — not just to build my portfolio for an upcoming bridal show, but honestly because I just missed photographing.
Bree actually works with Taylor, which is how she heard about the model call in the first place, and I thought that was such a funny full-circle moment.
This was also the first couple I tested my new editing style on, and I can’t even explain how happy I am with how the images turned out. It felt like the perfect way to step into a new creative direction.
Cooper & Bree plan to get married in 2027, in September if I’m not mistaken. I’ve talked to Bree a bit, and it sounds like they want me to photograph their wedding too — which I’m so excited about!
